Course Outline
This Diploma Level 4 course in Offshore Mariculture Supervision covers essential aspects of supervising operations on offshore mariculture platforms. Participants will explore fish husbandry practices, including livestock management for health and welfare, emergency management and response, as well as fish transfer protocols both onsite and offsite. The course also addresses habitat control and management, emphasising environmental considerations to maintain sustainability.
Course Aim
This course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to effectively supervise operations at offshore mariculture platforms, ensuring efficient fish husbandry, habitat management, operational system maintenance, and emergency response.
Course Objectives

Pre-requisites
Successful completion of the Offshore Suspended Mariculture Platform Operator Certificate 3 course.
Appraisal Process:
The appraisal consists of a 1-hour written assessment to demonstrate understanding of theoretical concepts.
Certification:
Learners will receive a UK registered NOCN Certificate Diploma 4 for Offshore Suspended Mariculture Platform Supervisor. Certificates are awarded from the UK and will be forwarded post course in soft copy to the individuals and /or the employer point of contact.
