Attendees should be either:

a) Current OIM

b) OIM’s Deputy

c) Emergency Deputy or,

d) Potential Duty Holder

3 x Practical ASSESSMENTS

(Conducted in a Simulated Emergency Environment – All Assessments Recorded on video & Audio)

Major Emergency Management Initial Response

TARGET AUDIENCE

Personnel who are either designated as being in charge of, are members of, or provide support to an Emergency Management Team in an emergency

PRE-REQUISITES

2 to 3 days (Depending On Members)

COMPETENCY EVALUATION

2 X Practical APPRAISALS (Conducted in a Simulated Emergency Environment)

THIS IS NON PASS or FAIL COURSE

Cold Eye Observation

TARGET AUDIENCE

Teams and individual within a facilities (Offshore or Onshore) Emergency Response & Management Organisation, Such as;

ECC Team / ERT’s / Helideck Team / Lifeboat Team / Radio Operators / Medical Team / Drill Coordinators

VISIT AIM

To provide non-disruptive Training and Mentoring in a familiar environment to improve confidence, efficiency and to effectiveness. Also to offer recommendations for improvements based on observations, OPITO industry Standards and Best Practices.

DURATION

Minimum 3 full training days where fly in and out is required to an Offshore Facility

LOCATION

The program is delivered onsite, on either the Offshore or Onshore Facility. Anywhere in the world

FORMAL POST VISIT REPORT

A detailed post visit report is compiled for the Client to formally identify observations and recommendations for improvement immediately following the visit
